One step scanning: We understand that saving time is of paramount importance to you, so we’ve created the most efficient system on the market — no extra steps or extra hardware required. Orex CR combines laser scanners, phosphor plates, advanced image management software and a PC-based review station in a compact desktop or mobile system. Processing and erasing is a simple one step process.

One-step processing for a full-mouth series: Only the Orex CR system allows you to process up to 22 plates without any manual intervention. It’s the fastest, hands-off system on the market, which means your staff stays focused on patients, not plate loading.

No-step auto-erase: Erasing the phosphor plates is a no-step process in the Orex CR scanner. As soon as the image is processed, the plates are automatically erased. Technicians don’t have to remember if they erased a plate or not, and the plates aren’t exposed to scratches and the wear-and-tear associated with manual plate erasing processes. In addition, the Orex CR system is the first CR scanner to incorporate the optimum light wavelength to cleanly erase phosphor plates (old-fashioned erasure methods can leave artifacts that compromise diagnosis and require new x-rays).

With the right CR system, you don’t have to invest in extra hardware to support all your imaging needs. The Orex CR system is a true all-in-one solution, enabling panoramic, cephalometric, and intra-oral imaging in one system. For example, use both panoramic and cephalometric imaging for a detailed assessment of the relationship of the oral cavity and peripheral structures.

The Orex CR scanners is the only CR solution for the dental market that offers multiple resolution modes:

• Normal and high-resolution modes range from 5.8 to 20 pixels/mm.
• Standard and low dose applications with speed equivalent to film ASA 100, 200 and 400.
• Acquisition matrix of 2,000 x 2,500 and optional 4,000 x 5,000 pixels.

For example, the high resolution setting offers image quality that provides excellent demarcation analysis of hard and soft tissues. This makes the Orex CR a powerful adjunct tool for difficult diagnoses and treatment plans.
